Program Outcomes (POs)

PO1Ability to create architectural designs that satisfy both aesthetic and technical requirements.
PO2Adequate knowledge of the histories and theories of architecture and the related arts, technologies and human sciences.
PO3Knowledge of the fine arts as an influence on the quality of architectural design.
PO4Adequate knowledge of urban design, planning and the skills involved in the planning process.
PO5Understanding of the relationship between people and buildings, and between buildings and their environment, and the need to relate buildings and the spaces between them to human needs and scale
PO6Understanding of the profession of architecture and the role of the architect in society, in particular in preparing briefs that take account of social factors.
PO7Understanding of the methods of investigation and preparation of the brief for a design project.
PO8Understanding of the structural design, constructional and engineering problems associated with building design

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1Take up the role of an architect in shaping the built environment following methods by which the design process integrates multiple factors in different settings and scales of development from building to cities.
PSO2Make design decisions within architectural projects while demonstrating the user requirements, regulatory requirements, site conditions and accessible design, and considerations of the measurable environmental impacts of their design decisions.
PSO3Comprehend leadership in multidisciplinary teams, diverse stakeholder constituents, and dynamic physical and social contexts and apply effective collaboration skills to solve complex problems.
PSO4Have in-depth understanding of diverse cultural and social contexts and translate that understanding into the built environment that equitably supports and includes people of different backgrounds, resources and abilities.
