As part of the Planning Studio, the S2 M.Plan students of TKM SADP undertook the academic exercise titled “Development Plan for Kottayam Municipality – Kottayam: A Candidate City of UNESCO Learning City”.
The studio culminated in the formal submission of the compiled reports by Dr. Annie John to the Chairperson of Kottayam Municipality and Adv K. Francis George, MP, Kottayam, at their respective offices.
The submissions were made in the presence of the enthusiastic student team, marking a significant step in bridging academic inquiry with real-world urban governance and policy discourse.
This exercise reflects the department’s commitment to experiential learning and its active engagement with urban futures.
